Psychotherapy

Psychotherapy is a general term that includes various approaches that have been proven useful in targeting several forms of mental health issues. Many psychologists at the CCPE offer psychotherapy services for various psychological problems that may be relevant to you.

While many psychotherapeutic methods exist, many may be grouped into four main approaches. These include cognitive-behavioral, existential-humanistic, psychodynamic-analytical and systemic- interactional approaches. There are also many specialized approaches that are applied by some psychotherapists for targeting specific types of problems.

At the CCPE, our primary objective is to offer psychological services that are adapted to our clients’ needs. Rather than rigidly adhering to a specific doctrine, our psychotherapists take into account many views of human functioning by flexibly adapting the various therapeutic approaches in a way that is most appropriate and effective for each individual.

Nevertheless, each psychologist has his or her own specific theoretical background. Moreover, each knows how to leverage his or her experience and interpersonal skills to make you feel at ease. From the moment you make your call, we ensure that your request is handled according to your personal needs.
